You’re posting all the time. Your content looks good. And the number at the end of the month won’t move.
So you film more. You try to look better. You buy the ring light, upgrade the camera, spend longer editing. And nothing changes.

It Was Never Your Content
More Posts Won’t Fix It
When your income stalls, the natural move is to make more content. It feels like progress, and it’s the one thing you fully control.
But more content doesn’t bring more people if you’re not focusing on first fixing the marketing. If nobody new is being sent to your page, you’re just adding to a bigger pile that the same small group of followers sees. Your library grows. Your audience doesn’t. Your income sits still.
Your Income Follows Your Traffic
Two creators with equally good content can earn wildly different amounts. The difference is how many new people get sent to their page each week.
That’s hard to hear, because you can see your content getting better. Traffic feels invisible until you start counting it. But the money follows the traffic, not the camera quality.
Filming Is About 10% of This Job
That’s my own rule from managing accounts full time. Filming is roughly 10%. Marketing is the other 90%.
Most creators have it backwards. They put almost everything into making content and whatever’s left into getting people to see it. Then they decide the problem is their looks. It isn’t. It’s the marketing.
What Does OnlyFans Marketing Actually Look Like Every Day?
Ask One Question Every Morning
Not on Sundays. Not when you remember. Every single morning: what am I doing today to get new people to my page?
That’s the job. Everything else supports it.
Find What Works for You
Short videos, photos, carousels, talking to camera, skits, storytimes. You won’t know what works for you until you try them.
Give each one a real run. Not three posts and quit — long enough to actually see what happens. One of them will do better than the rest. That’s your thing.
Then Go All In on It
Once you find it, stop spreading yourself thin. Posting “okay” content on 5 platforms loses to owning one.
You grow faster when people start recognising you in one place. You disappear when you’re forgettable in five.
Looking Good Isn’t the Problem. Getting Watched Is.
Quick note on what this section covers: your social media posts. Reels, TikToks, Shorts, and photo carousels. The posts that bring strangers to your page.
Looking Good Absolutely Works
Being attractive converts. That’s not the issue, and anyone telling you different is selling something.
The problem happens earlier. Your post can only work on people who actually see it. And Instagram and TikTok don’t show your post to more people just because you look good. They show it to more people because viewers stayed and watched.
Watch Time Is What Gets You Seen
Here’s how it works. When you post a video, the app shows it to a small group first. Then it watches what those people do.
If they scroll past in a second, the app decides nobody wants it and stops showing it. Your video dies with barely any views.
If they stay and watch, the app shows it to more people. Then more. Now your content is in front of 10s of thousands or 100s of thousands of people, doing exactly what it was always able to do.
That’s why the first second matters more than anything else in the video.
Videos and Carousels Both Need a Hook
For videos, the hook is the first second or two. Text on the screen, a line you say, something that makes people curious. It has to make stopping more interesting than scrolling.
For carousels, it’s the first photo. That’s the only one most people will ever see, and its job is to make them swipe. If your first slide is just a nice photo, there’s nothing making anyone swipe — it’s one pretty picture in a feed full of pretty pictures. Your best slides never get seen.
Same idea, different spot. Both fail the same way when you skip it.
What a Hook Gets You
Two things, in this order.
First, people stay — which is what gets your post shown to more people. Second, once they’ve watched a bit, they start wondering who you are and go searching for your OnlyFans.
Attention comes first. You can’t win over someone who left in the first second, no matter how good the rest was. Building that first second is a big part of what we do for the creators we manage.
Where to Put Your Link on Each Platform
Where you put your call to action matters as much as what it says. The same line that works in one spot will get you banned or ignored in another.
Instagram: Stories Only, and at Night
Never put a call to action in a Reel caption or a feed post. It puts your account at risk, and it doesn’t work anyway.
Your feed has one job: get you followers. The selling happens in your Stories, your Highlights, and your bio.
Post your Story call to action at night, when people are off work and on their phones. Stories only get seen once, so timing is everything. Keep it subtle: “Online Now 🟢”, “BF Applications”, “OnlyBros”.
Watch your link in bio too. Instagram blocks certain link sites completely, which quietly kills every link you post. Don’t use Linktree. Use Direct.me, hoo.be, or Link.me instead.

Reddit: Get Verified First
Verification is what unlocks Reddit. And no, I don’t mean a verification check. Post a photo of yourself holding a piece of paper with your username on it, and get approved in the subreddits you want to post in. This is how users will verify it’s really you who runs the account.
Once you’ve got that post up, post a highly teasing photo or video of yourself at least every other day with a good caption and OF CTA to “followers only”. This post to “followers only” is in addition to your normal daily posts you handle in subreddits related to your niche. Reddit fans buy once they believe you’re real. That’s all verification is doing — proving you’re a real person.
Twitter/X: Use a Pinned Post
Keep a pinned post at the top of your profile with your link. Always. It’s the best spot you own on the platform. It must be a HIGHLY teasing photo to capture attention on your profile and get users to your OnlyFans.
Stop chasing big view counts on every post. A tweet with a million views and no clicks is worth less than a small one that sends people to your page. Post to get clicks, not attention. Viral tweets are meant for Twitter follower growth. Daily posts designed for your followers only are what convert those followers into OnlyFans fans.
Keep Your OnlyFans Page Alive Too
Fans Buy From People They Remember
Traffic gets fans in the door. Posting on your page keeps you in their head.
Post enough that your subscribers remember you exist. Then when your messages go out, they know who you are — and that’s the difference between a fan who replies and buys, and one who scrolls past a message from a creator they barely remember subscribing to. REMEMBER, you’re competing against millions of other OnlyFans creators. It’s likely your fans follow 4-5 other creators who look extremely similar to you. If you’re not constantly posting on OnlyFans to remind your fans you exist, they’ll buy from your competitors.
Send Fresh Content Every Week
Send content out to everyone weekly, and make sure it’s actually new. New outfits, new backgrounds, new setups. Recycled stuff gets noticed straight away.
Don’t make it all paid. A good chunk should be free teasing content that keeps them opening your messages instead of ignoring them. A dead inbox loses you fans. A fun one keeps them subscribed and spending. If keeping it that active is more hours than you have, that is usually the point creators hand the inbox to a chatter.
